Experience

Mishka

Starting my own equine journey at a very young age I found my passion ran deep in my veins. I found my own ways to get to the barn in town often taking myself and working to be able to take lessons. Later, I purchased on my own a wild mustang right from the BLM who I named Freedom. I couldn’t afford a trainer so I learned how to train on my own. Moving in my high school years to the country, I managed and ran my own barn. I had a couple of boarders as our barn was small. I also took on overflow horses from another barn, babies, several rehab horses and even rescue horses who were deemed bad tempered. I really found my niche in horses who were injured or had what others would call temperament issues.
I rode with my aunt at River Wildlife and worked for Kohler stables prior to moving to California where I found ways to help other horse owners and exercise rode for some barns in Del Mar.
In 2013, I started Aubrie more on her equine journey and happily played the role of horse mom. As she grew older I started to ride Prue at the barn while Aubrie was doing lessons. Several months later I decided to purchase Prue with the intent of having her for myself as she was truly beyond what my daughter could handle at that time. My daughter soon fell in love with Prue. We worked on the ground focusing on trust and bonding. I taught Aubrie what I had all learned through Freedom. For her birthday a few months later I gifted her Prue and she finally got to ride her. Together they took on the show world and I became the show mom.
This last year we looked at and later purchased a Thoroughbred named Boo who we fell in love with. Boo has taught me so many incredible things as she is super sensitive and smart. I love always learning what horses want to teach us.
Through Aubrie riding at several barns, and constantly expanding her knowledge, I have learned a lot about many different equine businesses.

I make it a personal mission to expand the equine community each year by rolling over most the income from this business to other equine businesses in the industry. In 2024, I took the earnings from the previous year and put them towards different equine photographers to be a better reference and resource for creating better pairings for clientele.

Aubrie

She has been on horses since she was in womb. Since then, she has been pursuing her passion for horses by continuing her education in many riding disciplines including: English, Western, Barrel Racing, Trail, Trail in hand, Saddle Seat, Dressage, Jumping, Ranch, Showmanship, and Halter.
However, her true passion is the intensity and perfection that Dressage requires. She is currently preparing towards the Olympics officially for Dressage.
Aubrie has participated in 4H for several years. She currently riding with four barns in various disciplines and is constantly expanding her credentials. One of Aubrie’s current favorite projects is working with a Thoroughbred gelding who she is partnering and learning positive reinforcement training and rehab/therapy with a young Thoroughbred Mare who was found to have ECVM and Kissing Spine.
Aubrie also owns Prue, an American Saddlebred who we purchased from her first trainers. Prue had a severe accident in ‘22 which taught Aubrie about how to recover horses from injuries. Aubrie has grown through a lot of adversity in the equestrian world. Together her and Prue they are currently working towards their comeback. Aubrie has a goal to become an Olympic rider.
